SUPERVISION
I am passionate about providing a safe and collaborative space to explore my supervisee's work. My aim's are that supervision can be a place of support, learning, growth and challenge, where all of your work can be brought and reflected on.
If you are looking to start up your own private practice in the future or need support to boost your current practice, I am able to offer support and guidance around this, which will enable you to get your counselling practice set up or increase referrals and maximise your marketing potential.

In my supervision practice I work from a person-centred and humanistic perspective but also can draw on a number of different models and modalities when appropriate due to practising as an integrative therapist with over 15 years experience working with a diverse range of clients and couples who have presented with a diverse range of issues which as a result has needed a flexible client led approach.
The 3 main functions of counselling supervision can be broken down into:
The Formative
The educational aspect where we develop our skills and knowledge.
The Normative
Looking at the managerial, administrative aspects of counselling work, as well as the quality assurance and the ethical practice.
The Restorative
Where we focus on support, facilitating growth of awareness and self-care
We will work together to embed all 3 of these functions in the supervision relationship. This promotes both the wellbeing and professional development of the counsellor and the client.
